January – Sanctity of Life Month-We offer bulletin inserts, and now have a local service near the date of Roe vs. Wade; (participate in pro-life walks in Ohio & Wash DC, an Erie pro-life breakfast, etc.)
April – National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day
May – Ashtabula County Family-A-Fair
            Mother’s Day Bake Sale - Wal-Mart
            Bulletin inserts provided for churches
August – Ashtabula County Fair Booth
September – Grape Jamboree Parade
October – Respect Life Month – we offer bulletin

November– Celebrate Life Event (combines Nov.
             & Dec. meetings

Blankets of Love
Friends for Life is sponsoring a program called Blankets of Love. We are looking for donations of yarn. The yarn will be used by volunteers who knit or crochet to make baby blankets. The blankets will then be donated to Birthcare and Fresh Start. Call the coordinator for Blankets of Love, Stephanie Luce, at 992-6285 if you have yarn you would like to donate or if you would like to help make blankets.

Pro-Life Movie, Bella
There is a new pro-life movie out titled "Bella." It is now playing in Willoughby at the Regal on a limited release, but hopefully will be playing in more theaters soon. Grape Jamboree Parade
Friends for Life marched in Saturday’s Grape Jamboree Parade. We had a record turnout this year with about 50 in our group! Praise the Lord! We handed out candy for the little ones and brochures titled "Did You Know?" to teens and adults. This year for the first time, we also had a float. Thanks to Rita Sarell for her help and to Great Lakes Auto for the use of a vehicle for the day. As in other years, many applauded as we passed by.

October - Respect Life Month
Our annual Walk for Life was held on Sunday, October 14^th. About fifteen took part in the event. Thanks to Pastor Ed Diehl of the Pierpont Presbyterian Church for giving the message following the walk. Did you see the coverage in the Star Beacon the following day?
